Suggestions for English Language Learners

(B, I) Students use “Build a Sentence” activity to create simple sentences. The Build a Sentence activity provides word and picture cards (where appropriate) on color-coded index cards with directions on how to manipulate cards to build sentences.
(I, T) Students work in small groups to create sentences and paragraphs.
(I, T) Students use pre-written word cards to create sentences and pre-written sentence strips to create a paragraph.
