Patterns Here, There, And, Everywhere
A cross-curricular unit involving all subject areas in which the students will demonstrate an understanding of numbers, patterns, counting and operations.

Grow A Pattern
Students will extend a given pattern using tiles or pattern blocks and create a growing pattern using tiles.

The Magic Box
Classroom lessons for engaging students in a variety of activities that give them experience in recognizing, describing and extending repeating and arithmetic patterns.

Find A Missing Number In A Sequence
Students will complete number pattern puzzles.

Pattern Unit
Students will discover different patterns and predict pattern variations.  This is a five lesson unit.

Playing With Patterns
A kinesthetic, hands-on lesson where students use their own bodies and manipulatives to repeat and create patterns.

Say It Again
This lesson incorporates the book, Rabbit's Pajama Party written by Stuart J. Murphy and a nature walk to reinforce skills with sequencing and patterns.

Totem Poles on the Rise
Students will use three or more different shape blocks in a repeating pattern to create a totem pole.
