Lesson Plans:

Who Wants Pizza
Students work online for a fun way to learn about fractions.

Fraction Fun!
In this lesson, students will use regions, sets, number lines, and other concrete and pictorial models to represent fractions and mixed numbers and relate symbols to their models. They will also use models and pictures to compare fractions including equivalent fractions and mixed numbers and to explain the comparison.

Fill 'Er Up
Students will use estimation strategies to solve problems with money and other decimal units.

Fraction Fun
Students will develop strategies for adding and subtracting fractions. Students will search for and generalize patterns.

End-of-the-Year Party
This lesson plan is designed to assess the student's understanding of addition, multiplication, and division of fractional and whole numbers.
