Calendar
Students will watch a PowerPoint presentation, manipulate word cards,
and color a calendar to develop knowledge of days of the week and
months of the year.
How Many Days Are Left?
This lesson is a fun lesson counting the days until Christmas.
Students will use a calendar, a number line, and the Internet to count
up by 20 and backward from 10.
Take a Walk
Through My Day:
Students will practice how to tell time on an analog clock. Students
will pantomime activities that they do in a typical day and the class
will guess at what time the student does a particular activity.

Lessons of Time:
This lesson provides an introduction to and practice with the concept
of time. The activities focus students' attention on the attributes of
time and enables students at varying levels to develop knowledge and
skills in using time.

This is the first of three lessons introducing time to students. The
other two lessons are

Seven Days of Trouble!
In this lesson, students will listen to the story Cookie's Week
by Cindy Ward and Tomie dePaola to review the days of the week.
Students will then make their own book off days in which they create
their own adventure like Cookie.
