In this lesson, students explore how illustrations contribute to the
telling of a story.
Circular
Stories, Sequencing
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the circular story
format by creating a circular, sequential graphic organizer for the
story If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
The
Kissing Hand: Identifying Problems and Solutions
Students will brainstorm a variety of problems and solutions. They
will then identify the problem and solution in the story The Kissing
Hand by Audrey Penn.

In this lesson, students will listen to an informational text, perform
an experiment, and answer comprehension questions.

In this lesson students will read The Little Yellow Chicken by
Joy Cowley and complete activities on prediction, prior knowledge,
