Why Pay Taxes?
Students will be able to describe why governments need revenue to provide goods and services; identify taxes as an important source of governmental revenue; explain how taxes transfer the use of resources from the private sector to the government

Rationing by Money Prices.
Students explore the role of prices in allocating resources in a market economy through the analysis of organ transplant recipients


Competition.
Students are introduced to the concept of competition through large group, small group, and individual work. The use of analogies and taking the role of a business owner help students better understand competition and how it relates to monopolies.
