Lesson Plans:

Labor Markets.
Students will understand how individuals "market" themselves as a labor resource.

Division of Labor.
As part of their study of the  Industrial Revolution and its effects on workers and productivity a short simulation  students understand why the concept of division of labor was utilized in the fledgling industries.

United We Stand.
Students will analyze and discuss the significance of primary source documents; describe the working conditions in the United States at the turn of the twentieth century that gave rise to the labor union movement; understand the justification for organized labor unions.
