Lesson Plans: The French Revolution Students understand the basic political events of the French Revolution, broken down into four stages, and the shifts of power during each stage French Revolution: Integrative Model Lesson Plan Teachers can use this lesson as an introductory activity for a unit about the French Revolution. This lesson uses the integrative model to help students use and develop their critical thinking skills. T he Impact of Art on the Revolution Students analyze the works of Jacques-Louis David, artists of the French Revolution, for elements of propaganda, motive, and viewpoint. The Call to Battle Students work in groups to develop a definition of the term revolution that characterizes how it is different from a war; review and classify one of four historical conflicts-the Seven Years' War, the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and the military campaigns of Napoleon Bonaparte; and report their findings to the class.
