Industrial Revolution As a newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) in 1832 England, you have been asked to take your place among other MPs in analyzing the effects of what some people are referring to as an "Industrial Revolution." As with most revolutions, it has helped some people and harmed others. You are working for the benefit of all England within the context of your party affiliation in these Parliamentary Debates.
The Industrial Revolution Students will explore the development of the textile industry in Great Britain, focusing on the invention of various machines. Link the rapid growth in both the textile industry and in coal mining in Great Britain to the development of social ills and the political push to alleviate some of the atrocious conditions under which people worked
