Process

Step 1:

As a group, we will watch the PowerPoint presentation titled “The Night Sky.”  For the next four nights, you will make some observations of the sky on your own at home using the Homework sheet.

Step 2:

Read a book about the night sky.  Use Kidspiration to create a Venn diagram about comparing the night sky and the day sky.

Step 3:

During your travels you may discover planets that no one has ever found. As a class, use your productive thinking skills to think of many, varied unusual names a planet might have.  Create a model of this planet using Crayola Model Magic and markers.  Be sure to name your planet.
